OneWorld Stories presents a fictional children's English/Tamil bilingual book about a rabbit named Malar endeavoring an adventurous journey to conquer her fears and find bravery. This story was written and illustrated by students at Christ Faith Home for Children (CFHC) in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, and Hope Academy of Northwest Arkansas (NWA) in Bentonville, Arkansas, United States of America.
 
Our goal at OneWorld Stories is to give students the opportunity to experience the world and connect with other cultures from their classroom. Two different classrooms from two different cultures are joined together as a team to create one fictional story. One classroom starts the story, the other classroom adds onto the story, and then the story is sent back to where it began to be finished. The story is published, and the proceeds from the sales of the book go back to the students' schools. All the while, each classroom is learning and exploring the other classroom's culture and seeing what it is like to be in each other's shoes.
 
Our goal is to enable students to recognize their similarities, respect their differences, and never forget their experience.
